Adsy at brightonSEO! Key Insights & Takeaways
This spring, Adsy was a Premium Sponsor of brightonSEO. It is one of those events that everyone in the SEO world knows about. It brings together thousands of marketing professionals from around the globe. We’ve prepared a cozy branded coffee point for participants. We also sponsored the official party, which featured a full Matrix theme. It was a great experience, and we are glad to share the details.
What is brightonSEO?
The conference took place on April 30 and May 1, 2026, at the Brighton Centre, welcoming thousands of digital marketers and search professionals from over 100 countries.
Among the participants were SEO specialists, digital marketers, agency owners, and marketing directors. Over half of the attendees are at the director level or above. The conference covers everything from technical SEO and AI search to content strategy, link building, and digital PR. For anyone working in search marketing, it's simply the place to be.
Who was on stage?
The April 2026 lineup was really strong. The conference gathered together practitioners from some of the biggest names in the space.
Here are some of the speakers worth highlighting
Aleyda Solis (Orainti | SEO Consultant & Founder) tackled one of the most pressing topics at the event. Her session explained how success goals and metrics are shifting in the AI search era and how to blend branding and performance objectives with the right tools to measure them accurately.
Alex Moss, Principal SEO at Yoast, was also on the speaker lineup, explaining the evolution of search intent and discoverability.
Greg Gifford, COO of SearchLab and one of the most entertaining speakers on the circuit, was also part of the lineup. Greg is known for making even the driest SEO topics genuinely fun to watch.
One talk that stood out from the very first session was from Inyene Udom, website conversion strategist, who took the stage on day two of the conference. Inyene's talk focused on the invisible gaps on websites that stop traffic from converting, even when SEO is strong. We discussed the critical importance of above-the-fold clarity, CTA placement, and why footers are often a brand's final missed opportunity.
We actually had the chance to sit down with Inyene before the conference for a full episode of the Adsy Talks podcast. We talked about why traffic goes up, but leads stay flat, and what AI is changing about user behaviour on landing pages. You can watch the full episode on our official YouTube channel.
The main theme across all talks was consistent: AI isn't the future of search anymore. It’s the present. It's already reshaping how people discover and decide, and the industry needs to adapt right now.
Coffee, a Matrix Party, and everything in between
Our involvement included two main parts:
First, we ran a branded coffee point at the venue. It was a dedicated spot where attendees could grab a coffee and take a breath between sessions. At a packed multi-track conference like brightonSEO, a good coffee stop naturally becomes a gathering place.
Also, we’ve prepared printed flyers for participants, which offer them to choose their own path in the world of link building:
Don’t forget about your bonus! If you grab your flyer at the event and it's still sitting in your bag — this is your sign. You could scan it, sign up, and get a $50 bonus to start building links your way.
While the main halls were buzzing with talks and packed corridors, the Adsy coffee corner was a place where people actually slowed down. Good coffee, a comfortable setup, and no agenda. Just a natural spot to catch your breath, meet someone new, and have a real conversation.

The star of the evening was Eddie the Owl — our beloved mascot, who hosted the party, appeared on every screen in the venue, and honestly owned the night more than anyone else there. Very on-brand for an owl who's been watching over the SEO community for years.
The hit of the evening? The Matrix photo wall — a proper fun zone where attendees could channel their inner Neo and dramatically dodge bad backlinks mid-air.

It was one of those setups people genuinely queued for, and the photos were absolutely worth it.
Huge thanks to the brightonSEO team! The party, like the whole event, was brilliantly put together.
Why Adsy supports events like this
We believe in showing up where our audience actually is. This event brings together exactly the community Adsy is built for: SEO professionals, link builders, content marketers, and agency teams. Being a sponsor isn't just about putting a logo somewhere. It's about being part of the conversation, building real relationships, and showing that Adsy is a serious and active player in this industry.
There's also something worth saying about supporting the ecosystem. Events like brightonSEO push the industry forward — they give people a place to learn, share, and connect. Being a part of that matters to us.
Eddie the Owl's big Brighton adventure
Our special star guest made it onto camera, too.
He apparently also went on a little tour around Brighton, checked out the venue, mingled with the guests, and somehow managed to collect more SEO insights in one day than most people do in a month. He attended the conference, soaked up the atmosphere, and naturally had a great time at the Matrix party he was hosting.
Honestly, for an owl, he networked pretty well!
Outcomes of participation
Sponsoring brightonSEO was a meaningful step for Adsy. The coffee point created real human moments, the Matrix party gave us a memorable brand presence, and the whole experience reinforced why investing in community events like this makes sense.
We'd like to thank the event's organizers for the energy, the atmosphere, and for making every attendee feel like they belong. You've built something the SEO community genuinely looks forward to.
We're proud to have been part of the biggest SEO conference in the world. We're already thinking about the next one and would be happy to meet you there.
