China Privacy Notice Supplement (Personal Information Protection Law - PIPL)

This supplement applies to users in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and outlines additional protections and requirements under China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL). It is designed to clarify how we comply with local privacy rules in addition to our global Privacy Policy.

1. Personal Information Processor and Contact

Why this matters: PIPL requires transparency about who controls your data.

Invise Inc. is the Personal Information Processor under the PIPL. If you have questions, contact: Email: contact@adsy.com.

If required under Article 53, we may designate a PRC-based representative and disclose their contact details here.

2. Consent for Processing Personal Information

Under the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), we are required to obtain your informed and voluntary consent before collecting or using your personal data — unless a legal exemption applies.

By using our platform and submitting your personal data, you acknowledge and agree to this China Privacy Notice Supplement and the processing of your information as described herein.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to applicable limitations (e.g., legal retention obligations or ongoing contractual requirements). To withdraw consent, please contact us at: contact@adsy.com.

We will honor your request in accordance with Article 15 of the PIPL and delete or anonymize the data unless retention is required by law.

Where separate or explicit consent is required — such as for the use of cookies, sharing personal data with third parties, or cross-border data transfers — we will obtain it via appropriate user interfaces or request mechanisms.

3. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Why this matters: PIPL restricts international data transfers and requires us to protect your data when sent outside China.

If your personal data is transferred outside China (e.g., to servers in the United States or the EU), we will:

  • Conduct a security assessment (if required)
  • Sign a standard contract with the foreign recipient
  • Obtain your separate and explicit consent for the transfer

4. Sensitive Personal Information

Why this matters: Certain types of data require extra protection under PIPL.

We do not collect biometric, religious, health, or other sensitive personal data unless it is necessary and separately consented to. If such a collection is needed, we will clearly inform you in advance.

5. Your Rights Under PIPL

Why this matters: You have legal rights to control your personal information in China.

Under the PIPL, you may:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Request deletion in specific situations
  • Withdraw previously given consent
  • Request an explanation of how your data is processed

We will respond in a timely manner, and no longer than the period prescribed by law.

6. Children’s Personal Information

Why this matters: The PIPL gives special protection to minors.

Our services are not directed to users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that personal information from a child has been collected without parental consent, we will delete it.

7. Automated Decision-Making

Why this matters: PIPL gives you the right not to be subject to unjustified automated decisions.

We do not use automated decision-making that significantly affects your rights and interests. Any limited profiling or personalization used is for service improvement and does not have a legal or major impact.

For questions or to exercise your rights under the PIPL, please contact us at contact@adsy.com.
